MINI CERAMIC DROP
Courtenay’s latest series reimagines antique ceramic ducks gifted to her by her grandmother, merging fragments of the past with contemporary forms. The sentimental objects are transformed into new works that explore memory, inheritance and the evolving relationship between the old and the new. Each piece becomes a collaboration between past and present, preserving traces of the originals while introducing new forms, colours and themes. The works explore memory, connection and the evolving life of an object.

These duck ceramics are designed as a two-piece vessel, with a hollow interior that can be used to hold and store objects, giving the piece both sculptural and functional qualities.

VASE / VESSELS
30 × 15 × 15 cm - Earthenware slip, handpainted underglaze
This ceramic is created by combining multiple moulds taken from original antique pieces, merging their forms to create a new sculptural object.
